In this episode of At The Coffee Table the table becomes round. We will be having a round table discussion on personal development and growth mindset with three moderators. I have the privilege of being joined by:
Alexis Tearney Kuhl is the second-generation owner and head instructor of Tearney’s Martial Arts. She is the daughter of Greg and Judy Tearney, 10th degree Black Belts. Alexis is a 5th degree Black Belt instructor. After 51 years, Greg and Judy decided to cease physical operations of their school – partly due to Covid, and also due to a surprise cancer diagnosis for Greg. Alexis reincorporated the business and pivoted to a virtual format. She teaches live, online classes to children and adults in both karate and kickboxing. Alexis, with her husband Jordan, also owns and operates an e-commerce store name Lhük Vintage. They sell vintage clothing and merchandise.
Jacqlene Hanks is a registered dietitian-nutritionist and certified diabetes care and education specialist. She has been practicing for 11 years and has worked in long-term care, acute care, outpatient clinics. Currently, she works in the outpatient nutrition clinic at the Syracuse VA Medical Center and has served on the board for CNYAND. This year she will serve as the website liaison. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys spending by time with her family and exercising.
Elizabeth Randall is a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner with a master’s degree from Upstate University. A single mom of two, she is no stranger to the obstacles and steep climbs up the hill of life. Throughout her career as an RN to FNP she has had to change jobs many times, went through a divorce, and graduated during the Covid pandemic. This self-appointed nerdy -hippie loves to discuss human rights, self-love, nature, and the universe. She spends most of her free time trying to live life to the fullest with her kids, going on nature-soaked adventures, running, reading, and even making a few short YouTube videos. She believes life should be lived from the heart with kindness, perseverance, open curiosity, and just a touch of goofy.
This episode will be a CAN’T MISS!
